Bjarne Bertram Reuter (born April 29, 1950 in Brønshøj) is a Danish author of children's and youth books, among other things.
In 1983 Bjarne Reuter published the youth novel "When the snow blossoms", which has become a classic novel read in theFolkeskole in 8th or 9th grade. The book describes as fiction the rise of the early 1960's Brønshøj, where Bjarne Reuter himself was raised. It should, however, be seen more as an expression of the social trends that broke out with the youth revolution, which started in the period leading up to the book's temporal focal point. The characteristics of the person are images of the currents that fought for power in society and the struggle between the revolutionary and the traditional. This fight is portrayed in the form of the internal power struggles and strife in a 9th grade in primary school.
Bjarne Reuter is married to Anette Allen Jensen.
The popularity of Bjarne Reuters has meant that every year from 1999 to 2016 he has been the author with the most library money.
