Rasmus Klump is a Danish cartoon created by Carla (September 19, 1906 - December 6, 2001) and Vilhelm Hansen (May 6, 1900 - December 3, 1992).

Rasmus Klump is a cartoon for children that tells about the adventures Rasmus Klump and his friends experience. Rasmus Klump always appears in red bib pants with white polka dots and travels around the world on "The good record Mary", which he and his friends built in the first album.

Rasmus Klump began as a comic strip on November 17, 1951 in Berlingske Aftenavis. It was quickly circulated to foreign newspapers, where it was sold in over 30 million copies. As popularity rose, the first album was released in 1952 (Rasmus Klump builds ship) and subsequently many more. In 1997 and 2000, a TV series was recorded over the series.
